Sourced a half dozen of these handcrafted amethyst Liuli glass vases for a premium multi-residential lobby fit-out over in Double Bay, and honestly, they’re an absolute standout. When you’re styling commercial spaces, you can’t have lightweight stuff that’ll just tip over the second someone brushes past it or a breeze hits it from the main entry. These things have got some serious weight to them—proper solid bases.
The color depth in the amethyst glass is spot on. Under the warm LED downlights we installed, the purple tones look incredibly rich, not tacky or overdone like some cheap tinted glass you see getting kicked around online. It gives off a massive luxury vibe that the client is over the moon with.
Only slight drag was the shipping took an extra few days to clear customs on our end, so we were cutting it a bit fine for the handover date, but they were crated up like a fortress so zero damage. Usually when you buy glassware online, you always worry it will be thin and flimsy, but this one is super solid and heavy. Got real weight at the base, so don’t need to scared that guests or cleaning auntie will easily knock it over.
The amethyst purple color is very rich and swee (beautiful), especially when the warm track lighting hits the glass. It gives that immediate luxury, premium vibe that high-end clients want to see.
Delivery side took a bit longer to clear port and arrive at our warehouse, so my team was a bit kancheong (anxious) because of the tight handover deadline, but packaging was safe like a fortress—thick foam and solid crating, so no defects or cracks at all.
Since it’s handmade, if you look very closely, the rim shape for all the vases got a tiny bit of variation, not 100% identical. But to me, that one is normal for actual artisan Liuli glass, not mass-produced plastic machine stuff.
Overall, really a good lobang (good find) for commercial interior designers looking for premium decorative pieces. Will definitely buy again for our next boutique hotel lounge project.
