A Harmonious Blend of Heritage and Modernity
The rst-c2030 by RST Designer Furniture is a stunning example of mid-century organic design reimagined for the contemporary interior. Expertly crafted from premium Solid White Ash wood, this chair features a bold Black Oak finish that accentuates the wood’s natural, deep grain. The centerpiece of this design is the integrated Indonesian Rattan backrest, providing a breathable, tactile texture that balances the solid wooden frame.
Artisanal Indonesian Rattan Craftsmanship
The backrest utilizes genuine, hand-selected rattan sourced directly from Indonesia, known for its superior flexibility and high tensile strength. This natural mesh is meticulously woven into the circular ash wood frame, offering ergonomic support that conforms to the user’s posture. With dimensions of 490mm * 590mm * 790mm (approx. 19.3″ * 23.2″ * 31.1″), this chair provides a spacious seating area without compromising its sleek, minimalist silhouette.
Engineering for High-End Hospitality
At RST Designer Furniture, we engineer every piece to meet the rigorous demands of commercial environments. The solid White Ash legs are reinforced with precision joinery to ensure maximum stability. The seat is upholstered in a high-density, charcoal-toned fabric that complements the black oak frame, making it an ideal choice for luxury cafes, boutique hotel dining rooms, or sophisticated residential spaces.
Bespoke Customization for Global Projects
We understand that interior designers require flexibility. RST Designer Furniture offers full customization for the rst-c2030. You can request tailored wood stain colors, alternative rattan weaving patterns, or a wide variety of premium upholstery materials—including genuine leather and contract-grade textiles—to suit your specific project requirements.

I have just received the shipment of 24 chairs for our new restaurant project in the Docklands area and I am mostly very pleased with them. The black oak finish on the solid ash wood is very deep and looks quite expensive—much better than the veneer versions I have seen from other suppliers. The Indonesian rattan on the backrest is authentic and has that nice “wabi-sabi” feel, though one of the chairs had a tiny bit of rattan sticking out that I had to snip off myself so it wouldnt snag a customers clothing.
The frame feels very sturdy which is the most important thing for hospitality use. I was a bit worried about the comfort of a wooden seat but the ergonomic curve is actually quite good even for long sitting. Shipping was on time, although the tracking info didn’t update for three days while it was at the port which made me a bit nervous. Packaging was very strong, no damage to the wood at all. I will likely buy another batch when we expand to the second floor next year.
