Sourcing natural rattan furniture for high-end hospitality venues in Europe is always a massive gamble because most residential-grade rattan sags, frays, or splits within the first month of heavy commercial use. Finding this mid-century solid ash wood armchair completely solved that headache for our new seaside pavilion project in Zandvoort. The combination of natural Indonesian rattan with a heavy-duty commercial frame is exactly what premium leisure projects need.
Inspecting the rattan work closely reveals a very tight, double-layered weave pattern that doesn’t stretch out or lose tension when heavier guests sit down.
