I’ve been sourcing seating for a boutique hotel refurbishment project in coastal Greece and we decided to pull the trigger on a batch of these ash wood chairs for our breakfast terrace and indoor lounge.
First thing to note is the build quality—the solid ash frame is sturdy and has a decent weight to it, which is essential for high-traffic hospitality environments where chairs get moved around constantly. We went with the walnut finish and it’s consistent across the whole order, no weird patchy spots. The Indonesian rattan backrest adds that nice organic texture we were looking for, and it’s surprisingly comfortable for longer sittings. It gives off a very refined “modern tropical” vibe that fits well with both upscale cafes and restaurant settings.
